Stephen Ministry offers a proven and effective way to organize, equip, and supervise a team of congregation members—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, one-to-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and the community experiencing life difficulties.
The Stephen Ministry team at First Christian Church began training in September 2022 and completed in the spring of 2023. Since then then the Stephen Ministers have begun working with their care receivers as they work through life’s challenges together.
The new Stephen Ministers were commissioned during worship on May 14, 2023.
